Your Role …
The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Council’s financial strategies necessary to meet the demands of a dynamic, high-performing organization. This position reports to the Managing Director of Finance & Strategies. This position is also the Council’s grant administrator, responsible for providing financial and administrative advice and support services to designated stakeholders including, program directors, program staff, contractors and other stakeholders in areas such as project development, implementation and monitoring as applied to a wide-variety of grants and throughout the life-cycle of grants and projects. The incumbent is also responsible for the preparation of project approval documents as well as all project related legal documents and to review financial reports and invoices to determine appropriate amounts of payments. In addition, the Grant Administrator plays a coordination role for projects/EFP travel-related activities.

Required Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or business administration with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience working in an administrative and/ or accounting capacity with accounting software, QuickBooks preferred. Experience in nonprofit accounting is a must. Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce and Excel is a plus.
